Condo Inspection

Priced by unit size, by quote

A Bent Nails condo inspection covers what belongs to your unit: its electrical, plumbing, interior features, appliances and balcony or patio. It leaves out the exterior and the common elements the condominium corporation is responsible for. Units from about 400 to over 1,200 sq ft are priced by size.

A condo inspection is close to a standard home inspection, with one important difference: Darren inspects the interior structure, systems and components specific to your unit, and excludes the exterior and common areas that fall under the building owner.

What it covers

  • Electrical system
  • Plumbing
  • Interior features
  • Appliances
  • Balconies and patios

Questions about this inspection

What does a condo inspection leave out?

The building exterior and the common elements and areas that are the condominium corporation’s responsibility.

I’m buying a new condo. Does Tarion apply?

Yes. Ontario’s new home warranty covers condominium units as well as freehold homes, so a Tarion warranty inspection before each deadline applies to a new condo too.
